Benjamin Kirui Launches Major Youth Empowerment Drive Through Njoro Youth Dialogue Tournament

A major youth empowerment initiative is taking shape in Njoro Sub-county following the official launch of preparations for the Njoro Youth Dialogue Tournament. The tournament, fully sponsored by Benjamin Kirui, popularly known as Pumbit The Lakwet, is designed to bring together young people from all wards in Njoro through sports and constructive dialogue.
The initiative reflects Benjamin Kirui’s unwavering commitment to nurturing talent, promoting unity, and empowering the next generation of leaders. Through this tournament, hundreds of young people will get a chance to compete, interact, and grow, both on and off the field.
Set to run from August to December 2025, the tournament will feature teams from every ward across Njoro Sub-county. The grand finale will culminate in a prize-giving ceremony, with Ksh. 250,000 in total cash prizes to be awarded to outstanding teams.
Each ward is expected to submit four (4) of its top teams. Registration is free of charge, and the deadline has been set for Friday, 11th August 2025. Organizers have assured that further details, including contacts for registration officials , will be released soon.
