In a devastating incident that occurred on Sunday night at Ngata Bridge in Nakuru, a collision between a truck and a matatu resulted in the loss of a young child’s life.

The mishap unfolded when the truck, loaded with maize, experienced a brake failure and crashed into the matatu.

As a consequence, the truck’s fuel tank was punctured, leading to a harrowing blaze.

According to Francis Wahome, the Nakuru West police commander, the matatu had six passengers who sustained minor injuries during the collision.

Notably, the truck involved in the accident bore a Sudanese registration number.
