Nakuru Town West Aspirant Makana Partners with Red Cross to Support Community Welfare

Hon. Robinas Makana, a prominent businessman and aspiring Nakuru Town West parliamentary candidate, continues to demonstrate his unwavering commitment to the people of Nakuru County.
During a courtesy call to the Head of Region at the Kenya Red Cross, Mr. Felix Maiyo, Makana received commendations for his impactful contributions to community welfare and disaster preparedness.
Makana was recognized for becoming a life member of the Kenya Red Cross Society, reflecting his dedication to humanitarian efforts.
In a show of generosity, he sponsored over 20 cyclists for the upcoming race at Nakuru Showground on November 23, 2024.
Additionally, he registered participants, including Persons Living with Disabilities (PWLD), ensuring inclusivity in the event.
To bolster the event’s success, Makana pledged 20 cartons of executive-branded water through his company, ROBSA General Agencies, underlining his commitment to supporting local initiatives.
His efforts were complemented by Muslim leaders in Nakuru, including Secretary General Faeez Nasher and Leader Abdul Rahman Ali, who also pledged additional cartons of water, further solidifying the event’s success.
Mr. Maiyo highlighted the significance of Makana’s contributions, noting that the funds raised during the event would be directed toward establishing emergency centers along the Salgaa corridor.
These centers aim to provide timely assistance to accident victims, a move that will save countless lives in one of Kenya’s most accident-prone areas.
