How Landscape Kenya Foundation is Shaping Future Leaders in Transformational Program

In a groundbreaking initiative, the Landscape Kenya Foundation has emerged as a driving force in transforming Kenya’s leadership landscape.

Launched on 12th January 2023 in Nairobi, the foundation has dedicated itself to shaping a new generation of reliable, competent, and innovative leaders through an intensive program that emphasizes learning, networking, empowerment, and growth.

The foundation’s mission to foster positive change in communities began with an extensive selection process, inviting passionate individuals with a drive to make a difference to apply.

Graduands

Keen on identifying potential, commitment, and a hunger for personal and professional growth, the process handpicked a group of exceptionally talented and promising individuals to embark on an 8-week Training and Mentorship program.

During the program, participants underwent a transformative journey, immersing themselves in a wealth of knowledge, skills, and experiences designed to mold their leadership capabilities.

Esteemed speakers, such as H.E LD Khan, the Pakistan High Commissioner to Kenya, shared their wisdom and insights on leadership and diplomacy.

Pius Mithika, the inspirational author of “The Boy Who Believed,” captivated the graduates with his tale of resilience and determination.

Nerima Wako, the Executive Director of Siasa Place, imparted invaluable lessons on political leadership and civic engagement.

This was equally echoed by Chief Guest who also doubles as Kirinyaga Women Rep Wakili Njeri Mainaa who said that at the end of the day the graduands will understand and remember they are walking a personal journey.

After receiving 192 applications, the foundation adhered to its core value of meritocracy and selected 22 individuals to graduate from the intensive 8-week training program.

The crowning moment was the conferment of the Fellows, marking a remarkable occasion that celebrated the dedication, growth, and unwavering commitment of the participants in their journey towards becoming effective leaders.

The event was filled with jubilation as the Foundation recognized their outstanding achievements.

The Landscape Kenya Foundation program proved to be a life-changing and empowering experience for the participants.

Beyond acquiring valuable knowledge and skills, they forged deep connections with like-minded individuals who will continue to support and inspire each other on their leadership journeys.
