Former President Uhuru Kenyatta has firmly dismissed claims circulating on social media alleging a political working relationship between him and former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
In an official statement released by the Office of the 4th President of the Republic of Kenya, the claims were termed false, misleading, and unauthorized.
The statement notes that the Office has observed with concern the deliberate spread of misinformation online, clarifying that the content being shared does not in any way reflect the views or position of H.E. Uhuru Kenyatta.
The public was reminded that any official communication from the retired President or his office will only be issued through established and verified channels—namely, the Office of the 4th President of the Republic of Kenya or the official Jubilee Party platforms.
Emphasizing the importance of responsible information sharing, the Office urged citizens to remain vigilant, verify information before circulating it, and refrain from amplifying falsehoods that undermine public trust.
The statement further underscored that the dignity of the Office of the 4th President remains paramount, reaffirming its commitment to transparency, integrity, and respectful engagement.
