Jembe Mpya Makana Slams Critics,Clears the Air on Leaked Audio and Political Tricks

Read Time:1 Minute, 33 Second

Hon. Robinas Makana has spoken out after a voice recording involving him and some Abagusii Welfare Leaders started spreading online.

The audio claims he was speaking with Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, who now leads the Democratic Citizens Party (DCP).

Makana has dismissed the recording as a political trick meant to confuse the public and slow down the unity that is building among communities in Nakuru, especially the Abagusii.

In his statement, Makana said the meetings were genuine and focused on helping the community.

He explained that these discussions were part of his work with the DCP, and they were meant to support better leadership, fair representation, and community development.

“There is nothing wrong with our closed-door talks. We were talking about how our people can grow, how we can be better represented, and how to work together for the future,” he said.

Makana believes that some of his opponents are using the audio to create sideshows and cause confusion because they are afraid of the changes happening in Nakuru Town West.

He said such tactics are not new and show that some people feel threatened by his rising support.

“I will not waste time on drama,” he added. “My goal is to bring people together and make sure every community is heard and respected in Nakuru.”

He also sent a message to those trying to joke around with politics, saying this is not the time for games but for serious leadership. He wants to build a team that puts the people first and avoids empty talk.

“We are not playing games. We are building leadership,” he said.
