Member of Parliament representing women in Kiambu County, Anne Muratha, has urged all political leaders from the Mount Kenya region to unite and set aside their political differences to better serve the common citizen, “Wanjiku.”
Speaking to journalists in Nakuru County, Muratha expressed concern about recent political tensions in both Kiambu and Meru counties.
She also commended President Dr. William Ruto for thoroughly addressing the prices of various commodities in the country, emphasizing the importance of regulating fuel prices for vehicles.
This call was echoed by Bishop Joseph Muchai of the ACK church in Nakuru County, who emphasized the need for unity among Mount Kenya leaders and urged the government to address the complex issue of fuel and electricity prices.
These political and church leaders made these statements during an event held at Imani Guest House, located under the ACK church, as part of the retirement ceremony for David Maina Ruheni, who has served the church as a driver for over 30 years.
