“Asiwe na wasi wasi – hapa NTW iko sawa na imara!” Makana declared, eliciting laughter and applause from the crowd. His remark, translating to “Let him have no worries – Nakuru Town West is stable and strong,” carried a clear message of readiness to take over leadership and usher in fresh momentum for the constituency.
Standing just a few meters away, Hon. Arama maintained a calm demeanor, though his supporters exchanged knowing looks, with some murmuring in reaction to Makana’s words.
According to sources close to Arama’s camp, the incumbent took Makana’s remarks as “mere propaganda” aimed at unsettling his loyal base.
However, political observers suggest that Makana’s statement struck a chord with locals, who have become increasingly vocal about a desire for renewed leadership in Nakuru West.
Makana continued, emphasizing his commitment to Nakuru West’s future and suggesting that local residents deserve more proactive leadership.
