Mama Lucy Hospital Wins Gender Equality Award at International Women’s Day Event

Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital has been recognized for its efforts in promoting gender equality, receiving the Gender Equality Award during the International Women’s Day celebrations held at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) on Friday.

The hospital, under the leadership of CEO Dr. Martin Wafula, was honored for its dedication to ensuring women are given equal opportunities, particularly in leadership roles, and for fostering an inclusive working environment.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Doricus Kemunto, the hospital’s Board Chair, emphasized Mama Lucy’s unwavering commitment to gender equality.
