The vibrant nightlife of Nakuru was shrouded in tragedy on Tuesday night , when a routine evening at a local club took a devastating turn.
Simon Karanja, a 59-year-old regular patron of a popular establishment in Nakuru, met an untimely demise that has left the community in shock.
According to reports, the incident unfolded at the bustling club where Simon, a familiar face among the patrons, had arrived as usual to enjoy some hot drinks. However, the night took a tragic turn as he suddenly collapsed, leading to his untimely death.
Nakuru law enforcement authorities swiftly responded to a call from the manager of the restaurant Okilgei, who reported the unfortunate incident.
“The manager of a restaurant made a call reporting someone has died in their shop. We rushed there only to find a man fallen on the floor, lying in puke sandwiched in blood stains,” stated the Nakuru Town East Sub County Police Commander Martin Masika.
The immediate response by the local authorities led to the rapid transportation of Simon Karanja’s lifeless body to the prestigious PNN Funeral Home in Nakuru for a post-mortem examination.
