Read Time:1 Minute, 23 Second

Nakuru Town West parliamentary aspirant, Hon. Robinas Makana, continued to solidify his influence in the constituency after a high-profile consultative meeting with the Nakuru Mwananchi Senate in the heart of Nakuru City.

The discussion, held today in the CBD, provided a platform for Makana to present his vision and engage directly with residents, many of whom have expressed dissatisfaction with the current leadership.

Makana, a respected businessman and public service advocate, was invited by the Senate Speaker Mr Obia, to address pressing issues affecting the constituency.

The meeting was marked by open dialogue, with tough questions raised about his plans and his ability to deliver.

However, the aspirant’s responses reflected a deep understanding of governance and a commitment to transformative leadership.

A key highlight of the session was his personal and academic background. Makana traced his roots back to Nakuru, where he grew up before advancing his education at Friends School Kamusinga.

He later pursued higher education at Egerton University and earned a Master’s degree from Mount Kenya University.

His academic and professional journey, he stated, has shaped his approach to leadership, one based on accountability, service delivery, and economic empowerment.

On policy priorities, Makana emphasized three pillars: Education, Healthcare, and Economic Growth.

He criticized the current administration for neglecting schools, failing to improve healthcare facilities, and leaving many young people jobless.

His proposals included increasing bursaries, equipping hospitals, and supporting small businesses to boost local entrepreneurship.

During the interactive session, he addressed concerns about resource allocation and governance, promising to champion transparency and people-centered development.
