Shock as Body Of Missing Hairdresser Jane Mwende Found Dumped In Pit Latrine

The hairdresser who vanished two weeks ago has been discovered murdered, her body left in a pit latrine in the Mlolongo area, not far from her workplace. Jane Mwende Mwanzia, aged 29, was found decomposing after the suspects led the police to the location.
The suspects, who were detained last week regarding Mwende’s disappearance, initially misled investigators by directing them to the Magongo forest in the Wote area of Makueni County.
However, they later changed their story, leading the police to Kiserian before finally revealing the actual location of Mwende’s body in Mlolongo.
Family, friends, and coworkers of Mwende had been tirelessly searching for her since she disappeared two weeks ago, visiting various police stations, hospitals, and morgues without success.
On the morning of Friday, August 25th, Jane Mwende received a phone call from someone posing as a client in need of her hairdressing services at their home. She left and never returned.
“Wakati aliondoka alienda hajawai rudi,” said Winnie Munyau, a hairdresser at the salon. “Alitoka hapa lakini hakusema anaenda wapi,” added Jennifer Mwende, who also worked at the salon.
Concerns escalated when Jane didn’t show up for work the next day, and her phone remained off. Her disappearance became evident when she failed to pick up her child from her Yatta home in Machakos after the August holiday.
Police officers at the Mlolongo Police Station are now investigating potential connections between Jane’s disappearance and a love triangle, as well as her involvement in the real estate business.
It is alleged that Jane and another woman in Mlolongo town were in a dispute over a man who has already been questioned by the police.
Strangely, the other woman has not been seen in Mlolongo town since Jane’s disappearance.
