Presidential candidate Dr. Isaac Newton Kinity was recognised during a church service at Peniel Church in Nakuru, where speakers highlighted his long-standing activism against corruption and his record of supporting Kenyans facing various challenges.
Those attending described Kinity as a leader who has consistently spoken against corruption and misuse of public resources for more than four decades. They said his anti-corruption activism dates back to the 1980s, when he was still a young man.
The gathering also highlighted claims of his support for Kenyans in need, including assistance with identification document fees before the government waived the charges, as well as support to Kenyans facing difficulties in the Middle East.
Kinity, a former Secretary-General of the Kenya Civil Servants Union, has been active in human rights and anti-corruption advocacy for decades. His 2027 presidential campaign is built largely around fighting corruption, improving governance and rejecting what he describes as the recycling of political leaders.
His campaign has also pledged to eliminate corruption within two years of taking office, with Kinity saying he would resign if he failed to deliver on that commitment.
At Peniel Church, speakers urged Kenyans to look beyond political slogans and elect leaders they believe have demonstrated integrity and a commitment to public service.
They further blamed the continued recycling of politicians for some of the challenges facing the country, arguing that Kenya needs leaders with a different approach to governance.
The Nakuru gathering comes as Kinity continues positioning himself as an alternative voice ahead of the 2027 presidential election, with corruption, accountability and integrity remaining central themes.
